FAQ:
What is the route? The planned route takes riders on a scenic curvy ride down Hwy 129, to GA 96, to GA-247, with a stop at the Children's Home so the kids can see all of the bikes and you can see what you are supporting, and then a ride back in to Macon. We will end the ride at AP's Hidden Hideaway - a bar and grill with seating, deck, pool tables, dance floor, and food!
Is food included? YES..Alice at AP's Hidden Hideaway is making home cooked food for the ride. Yum.
Will the ride be escorted? No, ride free...like a bird. On wheels. ;-) Local authorities are aware the ride is taking place but we will not be escorted so everyone can ride at their own pace and enjoy the day.
What are the venues/bands for the music festival? The Vespertine Crawl music festival will have 25 bands at 5 venues. We support the event and they have also agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds to the children's home. For more information and band/venue schedules visit www.vcrawl.net
When is last bike out? Last bike in? Last bike out at 11:45. Last bike in at 3:00.
Do I have to know how to play Poker? No. The route has pre-determined stops where riders draw cards and rider hand sheets are marked. At the end the hands are scored and the two best hands and worst hand win.
How much are raffle tickets? 50/50 tickets? Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 raffle tickets for $5. The 50/50 tickets are $5 each.
